Old Post: Unreleased Deadmau5

Been looking into that fabulous character Deadmau5 lately, and I found something worthy of attention. Joel Zimmerman (The Mau5's real name) made a bleep a few months ago loosely titled, 'October.' Joel was deemed the Best Progressive House Artist for 2008 by Beaport, the worlds leading electronic music website, and this bleep only confirms that.

Although October is unreleased, one great youtube user was gracious enough to upload a rip of it from one of Deadmau5's live sets (video below). I recommend listening to it all the way through for the full effect.

Extraordinary.

I recently saw him live on the web at his Stickam Profile page. He allowed his fans to view and hear what he was doing in the studio via a webcam. It was crazy. He was remixing Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name Of,' among other things. The guy was on there for 6 hours straight without a break. I guess that's why he's #6 in the world right now.

From the youtube rip, one of our electro house producing friends from Sweden, Hermansen, has made a remix. Or rather a re-make. Stylized with a lot of electro, this bleep was made in FL Studio 8 , and shows a lot of character.
