Deadmau5 + Wolfgang Gartner!!!!!!

DUDES! This in not more than half an hour ago from Wolfgang Gartner.

"The collaboration with Deadmau5 called "Animal Rights" will be out on Sept 6th on Beatport. It got some play on Radio 1 today so now there are some lo-fi previews floating around. That's all for now."

That's right folks, the collaboration between the King of Electro House, and the Mau5 is here. Get it at Beatport a week from Monday (the 6th). This is very exciting people, and it makes this humble blogger feel like a little school girl.

EDIT: Now available on Beatport!

What The Bleeps Radio: #13

This week has been a dubstep week, so the radio show today on KRUU 100.1fm in Fairfield, Iowa, will be all about Dubstep.

For the first half of the show I will be taking you on a journey through what Dubstep was, and what dubstep has become. Expect to see quite a variety of bleeps that all fit in the same genre.

The second half will be about new Dubstep, with a number of bleeps that have not been released yet. A brand spanking new Doctor P remix, and a mellow remix of Coldplay.

Also, I have exclusive access to Coma's newest bleep, and will be dropping it as well.

Goodie Bag #12

Once again it's time for the Goodie Bag. Here we go.

A couple of little bleeps caught my attention off of Gotta Dance Dirty. These guys update several times a day, usually with great stuff. The first is from Ocelot, and it samples heavily from that classic 80's funk beat, 'Hit And Run' from the Bar-Kays. Nu Disco meets Electro for great effect.

Ocelot - Vincent's Theme (Original Mix) YSI

Next up, and shortly there after I found a fantastic remix of Clockwork by Valerna. If you've been keep up with the blogs you've probably seen this one already, but here it is anyway. Great ambiance builds up into a Dutch-esque drop that will get almost any dancefloor moving for sure.

Clockwork - Airflow (Valerna Remix) <3 YSI

I found a few little bleeps from Nom de Strip the other day. The guy brings his own funky electro twist on some little bleeps that I thought were completely played/remixed out. He does a remix of Meet Her At Love Parade. A bit of a fearless move on his part, but he did a surprisingly good job, and I found myself nodding to the beat the whole time.

Da Hool - Meet Her At The Love Parade (Nom De Strip Remix) YSI

Religion comes back with a new remix. This time of the Felix Cartel for great effect. Definitely an electro banger!

Felix Cartal - Berlin (Religion Remix) YSI

A friend showed me this bootleg remix the other day of The XX. Flufftronix does an interesting Dubstep rendition that sounds great. Melodic indie music meets Dubstep, yeah.

The XX - Infinity (Flufftronix Remix)
YSI

Sweet Little Bleeps favorite, Omega, does a rework of an edit of a little bleep from another favorite, Breakage. When I saw posted on Omega's soundcloud, I knew it had to be a recipe for success, and I was right. The more I listen to it the more I like it. It starts off in typical mellow Breakage style, and slowly builds into something more.

Breakage - Justified (Dublic Edit - Omega Rework) <3 YSI

We have a HUGE update from Play Me Records, probably worthy of its own post. With artists like Cybertronix, Mark Instinct, and We Bang topping the Dubstep charts on Beatport, Play Me Records is definitely here to stay. They are giving away a number of little bleeps in the coming months but they posted a remix from Bare (not to be confused with Bare Noize) of something most of you will probably recognize ;).

Opus III - Fine Day (Bare Remix) [NICE!] YSI

I just got what is the first remix of Jack Beat's newest bleep from Keen. They do this sort of breakbeat rendition, chopping up the original like there's no tomorrow.

Jack Beats - Out Of Body (Keen Remix) YSI

And last but not least sees a new bleep from Polizei, the Canadian dubstep producer featured on this blog earlier this year. His mellowed out wobbles do not reach this new bleep too much, but his style shines through still. Also, if you listen to it with good headphones or speakers, you'll hear some pretty intense sub bass in the lower frequency range. Salute.

Polizei - Here We Go Again (Original Mix) YSI

Breakage

Seems like I'm doing a lot of posts on Dubstep these days, and my radio show this week will reflect that. I have a lot of other dance bleeps that I will be sharing with you guys later but for now I've got to put these dub bleeps out there because they are just too good not to share.

I want to take you on a trip away from modern Dubstep back to when it was an up and coming genre, and there wasn't hardly any wobble basses around. This would have been the time where Breakage would have fit in best. Formerly a Drum & Bass producer, he changed up his sound when he went into Dubstep. His music borders on being minimalist, but the way he drops in his basslines kills me, softly.

His album 'Foundation' dropped a few months back, and it is amongst the best of this year for sure. Pick up your copy at Beatport.

The first bleep I'm posting is a remix of Melanie Fiona, and it could be the best R&B goes Dubstep song I may have ever heard.

Melanie Fiona - It Kills Me (Breakage Remix) <3<3 [192 kbps] YSI

Next up we have a truly stunning remix of Sidney Samson's hit single, Riverside. Again a deep bassline that makes you want to groove.

Sidney Samson - Riverside (Let's Go!) feat. Wizard Sleeve (Breakage Remix)
<3 [192 kbps] YSI

If you haven't heard it already, I highly recommend that you check out Breakage's Essential Mix. It comes in three parts; Dubstep, Electro/House, and Drum & Bass. One of the best I've heard. Check it out on Fried My Little Brain, a new blog in the bloglist that you should check out anyway <<<.

New Releases In Dubstep

I have several little bleeps here that should interest you if you're into Dubstep at all.

The first comes from a crazy little artist that goes by Doctor P. While not a lot is known about this Midlands, UK producer, what we do know is that he is amongst the biggest and best selling Dubstep producers out there. Almost every single one of his bleeps has been snatched up faster than gold in San Francisco back in 1849. This one will be no exception. Expect it to drop on Circus Records on September 12th.

Example - Last Ones Standing (Doctor P Remix) <3 [128kbps] YSI

Something that has recently come to my attention is Callan Maart, a 20 year old sound engineering student from Cape Town. The guy pumps out a little bleep that I could listen to all day. A mellow wobble over a fantastic melody, one for your library for sure. Buy it at Beatport.

Liquid Shards by Callan Maart

Dillon Francis
has been getting a lot of love from all-star duo Major Lazer, and has dropped his Swashbuckler EP on Play Me Records. One little bleep in particular stands out, it's called 'Take Me High,' and when it drops, guess where it takes you.

Take Me High (Original Mix) by DILLONFRANCIS

Again, support your fellow artists and buy the bleep at Beatport.

In case you missed it, give his How Low remix a try. Hip-hop meets Dubstep.

Ludacris - How Low Can You Go (Dillon Francis Remix) YSI

And last but certainly not least is a Hindi music meets Dubstep bleep that will make you want more. It's been remixed by Cottonmouth for massive effect, and you can buy this one at Beatport as well.

The Love Theme - Indian Girl (Cottonmouth Dubstep Remix) !!!OUT NOW!!! by Cottonmouth

Loopus Amadeus

I'd like to direct your attention to a new artist who has come to my attention recently. He goes by Loopus Amadeus, and has been pumping out some seriously sweet little bleeps lately.

The above bleep is a prime example of what they guy is capable of. Dutch meets funky electro in a fabulous remix of Masters At Work. The bleep below is a Jungle house original that hopefully we'll be seeing released soon.
And finally, if Daft Punk ever made Hip-hop this is what it would sound like.
Get 'em while they're hot people. Make sure to follow Loopus on Soundcloud too.

Big Things For Dub Gabriel

While sifting through my normal every day emails I was pleasantly surprised to find a Dub Gabriel promo from Destroy All Concepts.

Dub Gabriel continues to push the musical envelope with his Restless Youth EP, delivering a deep and heavy dancehall-meets-dubstep scorcher.

For the lead track, 'No Lies', Dub Gabriel has paired up with none other than MC Zulu, one of the most sought-after ragga vocalists in electronic music today - his newest track with Dub Gabriel is set to be one of this year's hottest dance floor bangers. Check out the free download of the sweet Liquid Stranger remix below (not for the faint of heart :D).

Restless Youth EP

2. Dub Gabriel - Tactile Evasion feat. MC Zulu (Liquid Stranger Remix) YSI

3. Dub Gabriel - Babylon Shall Fall (Original Mix)
4. Dub Gabriel - Set the Lazer to Destroy the Sun (Original Mix)

Pick up the rest of the EP here.

I Like My Dub Extra Chrispy

It's been a while since I checked up on Chrispy, a young Dubstep producer from North Wales, UK. He's been hitting the studio hard over the last few years, going from an amateur producer to being signed with 2MUCHBASSRECORDS in late 2009. It's been great watching him grow, and today I'm going to share some of his latest bootleg work, with samples taken from the movie Transformers.

Mustard Pimp

Although I have known about Mustard Pimp for a while now, it didn't quite sink in just how amazing they are until recently. If you go to their soundcloud page, you'll notice that it is 7 pages deep, which is impressive to say the least. Mustard Pimp has been featured on blogs from all corners of the world. In addition, they have released more than 25 mixtapes within the last two years.

With recent remixes of Shinichi Osawa, Fischerspooner, and the Eagles of Death Metal, these guys will most definitely go down as one of the greatest Electro artists that France ever spat out.

Quiet Riot EP

Manaré (aka Riot Kid) is a Top Billin cousin from Paris and is undoubtedly one of the most interesting producers of the new wave of French artists.

Check his amazingly dope Quiet Riot EP with influences from tech house, UK funky, electro and bass music. Remixes come from none other than L-Vis 1990, French Fries & Bambounou, Femme En Fourrure and Merk Meny. Definitely a release not to sleep on. Bring that bass! Enjoy the music and the rest of your summer!

Teenage Mutants Strike Hard

FutureFlashs, and our friends from Kiez Beats have sent over their latest release from the Teenage Mutants. These guys hit hard with some crazy Electro-Thrash. Although I wouldn't recommend this type of music for everyone, I do enjoy throwing myself into the nearest wall to it. Sometimes the mood just hits.

Check out the Africa...Boombasa! EP below with remixes from Stupid Fresh and Dirty Disco Youth. You guys know the drill, make sure to follow the Teenage Mutants on soundcloud, and like them on facebook.

Teenage Mutants Africa...Boombasa! EP by FutureFlashs & KIEZ BEATS

While you guys are listening to the EP, check out their bootleg remix of Dada Life. Not too shabby. Make sure to get your free download.

Bonus: Some Disco that Kiez Beats is giving away.

Moar Revamps, Bootlegs And Originals

Elite Force has just released his latest Revamp, this time from The Prodigy's famous bleep, Smack My Bitch Up. In his typical style, Elite Force brings a decided breakbeat polish to a bleep that already stood out by itself. If you haven't looked at my post on his official release of Revamped, then you can do so here.

I was stoked to see Voodoo Chilli (aka Hervé) giving away an original. Strange and unusual though it is for him to release his music this way, the bleep itself is a stunning piece of Electro that takes a lot from Salsa dance. It makes me want to get out of my seat and shake my booty. Really.

Voodoo Chilli - Ya Dance So Sexy Baby (Original Mix) [AMAZING!!!] YSI

Then Pro Nails has done a different remix of Lady Gaga, and I'm totally digging it at the moment. Catchy Electro with the Lady's vocals is a win every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

Lady Gaga - Just Dance, Babe (Pro Nails Remix) YSI

NAPT Mash

Following their sell out Australian tour NAPT are giving away their N-Funk battle weapon remix of Miike Snow's "Black And Blue" as part 2 of their Contraband series. Hold tight for their forthcoming new single "Emotion", out later this year, with remixes from amongst others, DnB superstars Brookes Brothers.

Miike Snow, Passion Pit, NAPT - Black And Blue (NAPT Remix) <3 YSI

Runaway Riot

New things have been afloat from our friend Tom aka RuN RiOT. The guy has been producing some seriously massive breakbeat little bleeps lately, and I'm happy to share one of his latest with you guys right now. NAPT meets Spencer & Hill in this melodic, DJ friendly remix of Christoph Maitland. Kind of reminds me of some of Soulwax's older stuff as well at points. If this guy keeps it up, we're going to have a very in demand DJ/Producer on our hands.

Christoph Maitland - Electric Finger (Run Riot Remix) YSI

Also, RuN RiOT was featured on the Beatport exclusive release, 'Revolved' from Muti Music. The bleep is totally insane. It seems like Elite Force is no longer the only artist crossing Dubstep with Breaks.

Dub Gets Dropped

I have a smattering of Dubstep bleeps here that I've accumulated. Most of these are worthy of their own post, but in the interest of time I'm going to give them all away to you guys in one fell swoop. First up, although it's a bit dated, we have the latest and greatest remix from Joker featuring Lily Allen.

Professor Green - Just Be Good To Green feat. Lily Allen (Joker Remix) <3<3 YSI

Don Diablo has done a vocal bootleg of Calypso from Excision (who I hear killed it at Underground Sound last weekend) and Datsik. It gives it a gangsta touch that I personally enjoy a lot.

Don Diablo vs. Excision & Datsik - Blow The Calypso (Original Mix) [NICE] YSI

Next up, Rusko and Skream have been giving away bleeps like they're candy at a parade. Seriously, I recommend checking out Rub-A-Dub-Dubbb, and taking a search on the Hype Machine to find their newest shit. Some of it is crap, but a surprising large amount of it is awesome, like their collaboration on 'Dutch Flowers,' taking their usual style and adding a Reggae twist.

Rusko, Skream - Dutch Flowers (Trial Inna Baylon Mix) YSI

Just found out about a new-ish artist release Dubstep and Drum & Bass that goes by Vanks. If System Of A Down went into electronic music, this would be them.

Vanks - Cocaine Messes Up Your Brain feat. Skul (Original Mix) <3 YSI

Last but not least sees new things from Vaski, one of my favorite wobbler producers. He remixes that guy who has a really annoying voice that the girls freak out over. He happens to be the cousin of a friend of mine though. Small world.

Mike Posner - Cooler Than Me (Vaski Remix) YSI

Also, Vaski just dropped a new mix and it's TOTALLY MASSIVE!!! So check it out.

Douster Keeps It Real

Seriously. This guy is churning out some serious tunage these days. I would say since he released his bleep where he samples the theme music from the Lion King, (called 'King Of Africa' for those of you that don't know) Douster has become a big name in the whole Jungle House/Dancehall scene. Just recently he's remixed Toddla T in yet another stunning piece of work.

Toddla T ft Wayne Marshall - Sky Surfin (Douster Remix) by douster

Can't share this one, but if you like it, then go get it at Beatport.

In the meantime, he released a limited 100 free downloads of Uucko Riddim to the world a few months back. As soon as I heard this one, the first thing I did was listen to it again. Jungle House meets Ragga dub.

MiM0SA

Several Dubstep artists have caught my attention recently. One of the better ones being MiM0SA, out of San Francisco. His sound has come a long way, and today it is full of domineering moog basses, and melodic undertones. It makes me happy that artists like him and Joker don't use the wobble bass at all to make their dub, it shows that the genre truly is evolving (in case you didn't know).

MiM0SA has an impressive array of bootlegs and originals, and today I'm going to share with you guys some bootleg remixes of Dirty Vegas and the Purple Ribbon All-Stars.

Make sure to follow him on Soundcloud and become his fan on facebook.

Purple Ribbon All-Stars - Kryptonite (Point Of No Return) (MiM0SA ReMaSH) YSI

Dirty Vegas - Days Go By (MiM0SA Remix) YSI

Also, if you haven't heard this one yet play it right now. It's one of my favorite bleeps of the moment. If you like it, show your support and buy it at Beatport.

BetaTraxx Steps Up His Game

To be honest, while I like and have always supported BetaTraxx's material, I thought of the guy as 'not quite up there with the rest of them.' Not anymore. With his new hit, 'Mafiosa,' he proves himself against anyone in the scene today. Justice meets Wolfgang Gartner in this stunning piece of dance music that really belongs in a league of its own. Expect to hear it in festivals around the world in the months to come.

DnB Treats

It is not every day that I get to give away Drum & Bass for free here at Sweet Little Bleeps. The Drum & Bass Arena has recently been giving away some promo's from NC-17 (pictured left <<) to their mailing list recipients, and they aren't bad at all. Get 'em while they're hot!

Chauffered To Electroland

Born in a club and raised by a pack of wild prostitutes, Chauffeur avoids the light of day. He prefers to live when the stars come out. At night the city is alive and you can feel her pulse. It is the solid thumping kick momentarily drowning all of your senses, the pummeling synths that will turn you savage, the melody and sounds that release your soul.

Today he slakes the Electro famished of us with a couple of remixes of Drop The Lime and ninetyNine. Chauffer is in the drivers seat, and he isn't about to pull over.

Also, his Streets EP combining pop music with rave aesthetics is out right now.

Per QX Makes Some Noise

That’s right folks, East London’s promoter of one of the most acclaimed underground club nights in recent years GutterSlut, has recently decided to hit the music blogs hard. Per QX has been busy this year, remixing Laidback Luke, Lady Gaga, Tomcraft, Princess Superstar and The Young Punx, and is now bringing a funky house bleep, that has a twist of DJ Kool’s ‘Let Me Clear My Throat,’ to the blogs for us to share with you guys. Make sure to follow Per QX on soundcloud, and become his fan on facebook.

As always, if you want the full 320, then you've gotta buy it.

The Jeuce Is Worth The Squeeze

I apologize for not posting recently. I went out of town on business, and I just got back yesterday. However, now my inbox is full to bursting, and I'm going to share lots with you guys.

Jeuce sent over their latest batch of reworks, and man are they sweet. We'll start off with one of Mr. Fogg. Nu Disco stabs join epic buildups that drops into melodic Dubstep with this one, I've got to say I'm a big fan.

Mr. Fogg - Stung (Jeuce Remix) <3 YSI

Staying in the same realm of Nu Disco dropping into Dubstep, they've released a bootleg rework of Daft Punk's 'Make Love.' Bassline driven like any good Dub bleep, this one uses chops of the original on top of fantastic drum fills to keep your head nodding.
