I was happy to see the first of what I hope are many Far Too Loud refixes find it's way into my inbox today. Looks like Elite Force and the guys at U&A Recordings keep on giving away their bootleg cuts to the masses for free, so here we are again. This time of Simian Mobile Disco's recent hit, 'Cruel Intentions.'
It goes back and forth between a sort of funky Electro style to a wobbly get dirty Dubstep feel in a dance beat. This style is characteristic of these guys, and I hope to hear more from them in the future. Pick it up, and tell me what you think.

Got an email from autoKratz recently. Apparently they're giving away (yes, GIVING AWAY) their newest EP, 'Kick' to all of their fans as a thank you for showing their support on their recent tour, which looks crazy. Just check out the official highlight video they made if you want to see what I'm talking about.
I guess they'll be giving the electronic music community some serious food for thought, as they are going back on tour.
autoKratz will celebrate the release of Kick with a gig at KOKO in London tomorrow, on Saturday, May 1st. If your in town, make a note of seeing them, as I've heard it from several reliable sources that they are amazing live.
So I decided to listen to a little bleep the other day from an underground Dubstep artist by the name of Shekel. A friend recommended this to me as we were driving back from the airport. Here was my thought process as I listened.
"SHIT I can't pass this car because it's a no passing zone, wait are those kids cow tipping???, Mmm, mellow beginning to this bleep, I'm thirsty, that girl had back there had an amazing...OH MY GOD THE BASS!!!"

Quick little update here. Last Japan has just released his sub bass edit of one of the more creative bootleg cuts from Douster. Make sure you listen to it with good headphones, or with speakers that can really handle bass properly.
So I got a soundcloud message from RuN RiOT the other day saying that I should come check out his stuff, and being the new music enthusiast that I am, I couldn't resist the invitation, and I checked out his soundcloud page. Upon hearing his new remix of Lady Packa, (which reminds me a lot of Elite Force) he caught my attention.
His bleeps bring me into a grooving mood that makes me want to hear more, and sometimes get out of my seat and dance. I asked him for some promo's to give to you guys. His reply was positive, so here's a little remix he did. Enjoy.
Been a while since I've posted, and I'm sorry. Things have gotten crazy in my life, and I haven't had the time to do much updating, but now it's time to bring you guys more excellent little choons. I got an email from Top Billin Music a little while ago, and I keep underestimating the production quality that these guys bring to the scene.
This remix has an interesting little story attached to it. Apparently, having heard Kid Sister's new album, Helsinki 78-82 wanted to do a little disco/electro bootleg cut, but it was hard to pull samples off of the original. What they did was take the beginning vocals and chop the crap out of them, and create a bleep around that. They sent it over to Fools Gold, and what they got back was the official remix kit. Looks like they've been impressing more than just one little blogger here.

Continuing into the harder side of Electro, an artist has come to my attention recently who makes me want to loose all of my marbles. His name is ninteyNine, and he remixed a We Are Tokyo bleep and it makes me want to go crazy! Big ups to Chemical Jump for posting.

This bleep^^^ is amazing, and includes a wobble bass that you would normally see in Dubstep. Unfortunately there is no free download with this one, so you'll have to buy it on Beatport if you like it as much as I do.
Another little bleep which really caught my attention in this mix (actually they all stick out), was 'On Fire' from The Squatters. This one sounded like they sampled Laidback Luke's 'Show Me Love' and funked the shit out of it. I picked it up from Kissy Sell Out's giveaway page, and I'm going to share it with you guys now. Yeah that's right, after a plethora of remixes, and reworks, Jeuce has finally released an original EP. It's called Flavour, and includes a large amount of remixes from the likes of Kidda, Bare Noize, Kanji Kinetic, AudioFun and more. I highly recommend picking up a copy of this EP at Beatport or Trackitdown. If you can't spare the cash for the whole EP, just know that the Bare Noize remix (viewable in player below) is KILLER! One of the best Dubstep bleeps of the year so far.
There are a few unreleased little remixes that Jeuce himself dropped off in my mailbox the other day. They aren't quite as excellent as the Bare Noize remix, but they are good, and definitely worth taking a listen to. Check 'em out.
I have gotten a number of emails recently from various producers giving me their bleeps, and I am excited to bring you another mashup/remix from Elite Force. It features vocals of Beth Ditto from The Gossip, along with samples of Mr Oizo, over a re-arranged version of Elite Force's own Tech/Funk classic, 'Engine.'
This guy continues to astound me with his creativity and drive to push the envelope of what is possible in electronic music today. The above little bleep is the final release of 'Prevamped,' his free release and predecessor to Revamped, one of the best releases of the year so far.

Oh man, this little bleep has been on repeat on my iPod for a while now. Seriously, this remix is one of Ikki's best. Grabs you right when the beat drops at 0:23 and never lets go. Ikki is rapidly becoming one of my favorite remix artists of all time. Have a listen, and make sure to pump up the bass! Too good not to share.

From Australia hails a duo who call themselves "dirty Sydney rave rock sex bastards," and I couldn't agree more. Not a lot is known about Doctor Werewolf, all I know is that they are signed with Troublemakers Music, and that their sound is truly unique.
They somehow have managed to merge Funky House with Electro, to create this witches brew of a concoction that reeks of excellence. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.
In addition to a number of fantastic remixes, they also have some serious original bleeps. From progressive buildups, to Dubstep and Drum & Bass, these guys are about as diverse as they come.

First up we have the best D&B remix of Fake Blood out there from Terravita. Just take Mars, raise the tempo by about 50 bpms, and throw in the crazy D&B drums, and wah-lah, you have a recipe for a fantastic remix.
Then there's a bleep that I heard at Ultra Music Fest no fewer than 3 times from the Bassbin Twins, Rusko, and Steve Aoki. This was blowing up on the blogs a while back, but in case you've missed it, pick up a copy now. It's a Lion King remix. And speaking of Steve Aoki, Daniel Dexter did a fantastic edit of his remix of Gifted from N.A.S.A. It sounds like Crookers took ecstasy and laid down a beat.
UK based Dubstep and Grime artist Cookie Monsta is something else. Seriously this guy has some of the hardest, filthiest and most extreme sounds out there right now. A lot of his bleeps relate to the Sesame Street character the Cookie Monster (NOM NOM NOM), and he makes me want to jam out hard.
Something that you might not expect from this guy is a subtle twist on Dubstep. He doesn't use a whole lot of super large drum samples, and his music sounds like it's a cross between Jungle House and Dubstep sometimes, but it's all there to make you rock out. What's good bleep fans? If you can't think of a good response to this question then you'd better check out this recent mix from Hot Pink Delorean. They seriously have something going there, and it makes me want to check them out live. First half bangin' Electro that you know them for, second half Dubstep and D&B. Omega is a huge Dubstep artist out of Denver, with a unique style and take on the genre. Describing himself as a psychedelic Bass producer, I'm not really sure what to make of this guy, but I know that I like him. I was looking at random bleeps on youtube when I stumbled upon a remix he did of Come Together by The Beatles (there's a link to their myspace ^^^ in case you've been in a cave for the last 50 some odd years :P)
That was one I never thought I'd hear. It somehow manages to keep the originals integrity while still gelling as a Dubstep remix. A combination that is often attempted but rarely achieved. He does it again in his RIDICULOUS remix of Tiesto's 'Knock You Out.' This shit drops HARD. Tiesto - Knock You Out (Omega Remix)
And here's a few more for good measure. His remix of Portishead is more Trip/Hop than Dubstep, but it definitely drops harder than Trip' usually does. I guess it fits in well with his whole 'psychedelic dub' sound.
