Kid Cudi used his success that he got from Day N Nite with Crookers to release a single that did well. It was called Pursuit of Happiness, and when Steve Aoki got his hands on it, he turned it into a melodic dancefloor banger that makes me very happy. Seriously, I saw him perform it at Ultra Music Fest in Miami and was so impressed that I recorded it and uploaded it to youtube for your viewing pleasure. Check it out.
Something that's unexpected about Steve Aoki is that he was INCREDIBLE live. Yeah he went on at like 3 in the afternoon, when his set should have been at more like 8 or 9. When he started, there were maybe 500 people at his stage, but after 2 little bleeps he had several thousand people watching him (check out the beginning of the video, I do a 360 to show you how many people are actually there). I'd have to say that he was the biggest surprise for me at Ultra, as I wasn't expecting much when I went to see him. I won't make that mistake again.
That's right freaks, I'm goin' down to Ultra Music Festival, so I won't be able to update the blog for a few days. Everyone who's anyone is playing down there, and you can check out the lineup for a listing. There will be a complete review when I get back so take care.
Hey bleepfans, so we're finally operational and ready to go again. There have been a lot of amazing little bleeps that have cropped up in the week since this blog has been down. I'm going to share them all with you guys right now.
First up we have, an aptly named little bleep from Dada Life. It's basically a remake of Satisfaction from Benny Benassi with a few twists and turns. If you've been into electronic music as long as I have, it will be a bit nostalgic as well ;).
Then there is what I consider to be F.O.O.L's best production to date, and a great remix of Ludacris. Not to mention a positively STUNNING remix from Bassnectar.
I've got a special little remix going here from DJ Reevo (myself) and an amazing local producer who goes by the name of Siamey. It's a remix of Superstar by Lupe Fiasco, and we include elements of Porno Galactica's bootleg of the same bleep. Check it out if you got a minute.
Alright guys, I finally have all the backlogs of previous posts taken care of. They are all up and ready to be read. Enjoy.
I've decided to do a special every week or two called Goodie Bag, of all the best new bleeps that I've found on the internet. So here it goes. I've come across several excellent little bleeps that I want to share with you all today.
We'll get started with an interesting bootleg from Redial of Miike Snow's forthcoming release, 'Silvia.' Definitely a different take than all the other official remixes.
Top Billin has been all over the map with his excellent Acid House remixes of everyone from Eddie Murphy to Scott McKenzie. Today however, we have something interesting. A remix of Rob Threezy that sounds like it came straight from Laidback Luke's essential mix.
This little bleep has a funny story attached to it. Apparently this remix was supposed to be featured on Threezy's latest EP, 'Let's Go Ravers,', but Top Billin's computer crashed. So they missed their deadline. Luckily for us, they found a demo on an external hard drive, and have decided to share with their friends for free. We here at Sweet Little Bleeps feel fortunate to be friends with the great producers of Top Billin.
Gotten some attention from BMKLTSCH Records lately. Apparently, they've just released 3 EP's on their Beatport page. The bleeps I'm sharing with you today are from those EP's and are very interesting, and a bit different from the usual Melodic Electro that I usually go ape shit for, and post here.
First up we have a (justly named) bleep from Nobody Beats The Drum that combines elements of Electro, Techno, Fidget, and Hip/hop to make one complex, amorphous little bleep that deserves play time in every Electro club out there. The EP also features a remix from Riptide.
Also check out this video of Boemklatsch tearing shit up @ 5 Days Off in Amsterdam. The bleep featured in this video is one of the better bleeps I've heard in a while, and will be released on their forth coming album, Spontaneous Combustion, which will be in stores April 16th.
It is because of artists like these, the ones who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what sounds good, and what is possible, that Electronic music is what it is today. To them I say, "Salute!"
Yes people, the wait is over. Elite Force's newest LP, Revamped is now here. You can pick up a copy at Beatport, like I did, or you can go on down to Elite Forces Official Site and get it there.
And a few other things. As you may know, this crazy guy only got the rights to about two thirds of the remixes that he did, so the rest he's giving away for free in his unofficial 'Prevamped' album. Here's a special little bleep that should interest you. It's a fantastic Dubstep gone Breakbeat remix (a theme that is very prevelant in his Revamped Album^^^) of Benga, and it rocks.
Also, in case you missed them, here are the other Prevamped remixes.
A DJ and producer out of the UK, Kissy Sell Out quickly became notorious for his innovative remixes that pack a lot of energy. The broad range of his musical influences usually manifest themselves in melodically complex and crazy Electro bleeps that feel like they were born on the dancefloor. In 2007, he took over Eddie Halliwell's Thursday night slot on BBC Radio1 to host his own weekly show called, Kissy Klub, and has been rocking it on the radio ever since.
Because DJs on the radio are only allowed to play a certain amount of their own content, Kissy decided to create the Kissy Klub Versions of a number of famous bleeps to get more airtime. Some of those have leaked over the years, and I'm not sure how old these are but they are amazing. Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up (Kissy Sell Out Remix) [Happy Electro, NIIIIICE!!!!]
Got a sweet little update from U&A Recordings in my inbox the other day. Looks like Rektchordz has done one hell of a great remix of Calvin Harris. Electro at it's best, check it out.
Stumbled upon a great little bleep from Neo Tokyo the other day, and decided to find more of his music. The more I found, the more impressed I became. Overall his music takes some of the better elements from Nu Disco and Electro and brings them together. Fantastic for any house party, and for most (Euro) clubs. This bleep below grabs you right from the start and doesn't let go. Too good not to share.
A new release on FutureFlashs' new independent label, Keiz Beats comes from German mastermind, MMMatthias. His Remixes of MGMT or Bloc Party have taken the Electro scene by storm and have climbed many times the most popular list of the Hype Machine.
Soon, he is releasing a new EP called, 'James' that is due out on February 9th in all major electronic web-shops. Here's a preview bleep, and a low-res remix from Sabotage.
Apparently formed after one crazy night in Belgium with a cassette deck and a stolen videorecorder, Videoband has one HELL of a big sound. Their bleeps are a culmination of SebastiAn sounding synths in major keys, giving them a hard, yet happy sound. They are remixing a lot of people these days, but their remixes of Rihanna, and Yelle are particularly interesting. I highly recommend them both.
Elite Force is churning out re-fixes these days like there's no tomorrow. We have yet another re-fix from him. This time of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs famous number, 'Maps.'
There have been several artists, that I know of, that have shown brilliance in several, and mostly unrelated sub-genre's of electronic music, including Deadmau5, Bassnectar, Theo Keating (of Fake Blood, DJ Touché and the Wiseguys), but there's a new name on the scene that's causing quite a stir on several different fronts. That name is Neus.
He's all over the map, going back and forth from ambient, experimental electronica, to hardcore Electro. They've remixed the likes of Birdy Nam Nam, Mr. Oizo, Justice, and Slipknot. Today I'm sharing a smattering of different bleeps and bootlegs that Neus has released in the last few years. Not anywhere close to the amount of stuff Neus has put out there, but you'll definitely see what he's all about.
Yup, time to empty that inbox, and there was a LOT of great bleeps in there! First, I got quite a bit of stuff from Le Castle Vania, so I will be posting it in parts. Also, new to the scene is Man & Vänner from Sweden. They are bringing the pain, the wobbly, dirty, filthy pain that goes straight to your ears, and you know the phrase that comes to mind when this happens? "I....liiiiiiike iiiitttt." These guys have become my favorite Electro producing Swede's behind F.O.O.L.
In addition, we have a new update from the Les Boyz, those two house maestro's from Montreal. They just finished work on a great [remix? bootleg?] of that famous Shakedown bleep, 'At Night.' Follow them on Soundcloud to stay updated.
Got a special update here from a new upcoming producer, Rx. This guy blends together various genre's (including Hip/Hop, and New Wave Rock in the bleeps below) with Dubstep to create stuff that will give you goosebumps. A very inventive producer, Rx hails from Philadelphia, and reminds me a lot of Bassnectar.
He heads up a blog called Subdivisionbass. They're "an eight member collective [including Flufftronix, one of the guys who made that wicked Dubstep mix in the post below], based in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Manchester, dedicated to spreading the heavy bass sound." They run recurring events and manage/book a small stable of heavy bass and Dubstep producers.
The more perceptive of you might have noticed that Subdivisionbass is now in the "Respect" or blogroll section of this site. <<< href="http://www.myspace.com/paperroutegangstaz">Paper Route Gangsterz and remixed by Rx, is below. Also, make sure to check out his remix of Jupiter One's 'Find Me A Place.' It truly is a masterpiece. Big ups to The Fader for posting it first.
A week or so ago I told my cousin, Jonna that I would make a mix for her as a late Christmas present. So as promised I'm providing a preview and download link for the mix from my Soundcloud page. Enjoy Jonna, I'm also including links to a few of the individual bleeps. I hope you don't mind me sharing it with my readers. Merry Christmas.

Darren Foreman, is a classically trained musician from London who is known for his beatboxing skills. He was given the name Beadyman, when an artist name was quickly needed for an early show. He was sporting a scruffy beard at the time, and seems to have kept it since.
This guy is off the hook. You may have heard of Rahzel? Well this guy has taken Rahzel's idea of beatboxing the beat and the chorus at the same time, and is running with it. Take this video below as an example.
Freaking AMAZING!
What he's doing in that video is recording and looping his voice using a Kaoss Pad. So every percussion instrument, synth, and melody of each song is his own voice looped. Using the Kaoss Pad, he can then assign each 'instrument' to it's own channel, to take away and bring back as he likes, and can add effects to each channel. Then on top of that he has some of the best impressions of ODB and Busta Rhymes that I've ever seen, and what you get is something that no one's ever done before. His live events are 2+ hours of him remaking hip/hop and R&B tracks with just his voice!
But let's go back to his bio. Beardyman was the beatboxing champion of the world in 2006 and 2007, from there he started to make his own crazy videos, adding elements of comedy. Take this one for example. It's got over 3 million views.
Then he got a spot on a BBC TV show called, 'When Will I be famous.'
Despite winning over the studio audience and two of the three judges, he came second in a public vote.
More recently, he's been collaborating with the likes of Fatboy Slim, and A Skillz, and has had his voice and beatboxed synths sampled in some breakbeat tracks that I'll share with you below.
Yeeees. Been a few days since since my last post. Lots of things happening, I have a lot gigs these days, which doesn't leave me much time to post. But here's an update for you guys.
Something that just came to my attention, that I think you guys will really like comes from an electro artist called Dada Life. These guys have been around for a few years now, putting out their unique electro blend of fidget combined with nu disco. They have released a series of bootlegs, which they call 'Guerilla Farts.' Some of them are quite good. Check them out. These bleeps are all unreleased. M.I.A. - XR2 (Dada Life Guerilla Fart #1)
It's been a great year for dance music, and so I felt inspired to show you some of the great bleeps that I've found over the last 12 months. Check 'em out below.
I'm including download links from other posts, and I'm adding a link for the 1st bleep :).
EDIT*** Download links have been removed to these bleeps. Sorry peeps.

Been looking into that fabulous character Deadmau5 lately, and I found something worthy of attention. Joel Zimmerman (The Mau5's real name) made a bleep a few months ago loosely titled, 'October.' Joel was deemed the Best Progressive House Artist for 2008 by Beaport, the worlds leading electronic music website, and this bleep only confirms that.
Although October is unreleased, one great youtube user was gracious enough to upload a rip of it from one of Deadmau5's live sets (video below). I recommend listening to it all the way through for the full effect.
Extraordinary.
I recently saw him live on the web at his Stickam Profile page. He allowed his fans to view and hear what he was doing in the studio via a webcam. It was crazy. He was remixing Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name Of,' among other things. The guy was on there for 6 hours straight without a break. I guess that's why he's #6 in the world right now.
From the youtube rip, one of our electro house producing friends from Sweden, Hermansen, has made a remix. Or rather a re-make. Stylized with a lot of electro, this bleep was made in FL Studio 8 , and shows a lot of character.
Got a couple a great bleeps from The Phantom's Revenge. This crazy witches brew concocts together the old horror music organ synth with some crazy electro stabs. A feast for the ears.
Also, check out the video preview of remixes from the likes of The Disco Villains (going to be SICK!!!), DJ Barletta, Q.G., FutureFlash's + Dare2disco, Markus Lange + Stereofunk, Modek, and Metalzone.
Oh goodness gracious...what did we stumble upon? Only one thing is certain; Bassnectar is his own unique force in the universe.
He is apparently "a freeform electronic music and social experimentation project" created by Lorin Ashton, and a few on and off collaborators. Ashton describes Bassnectar's sound as "omni-tempo maximalism," by which he means combining beats and basslines with music of any or all speeds, time signatures, rhythms, and sound source. His sound gravitates towards heavier tempos with dubby and wobbly basslines.
He also uses electronic methods to embellish and reinforce other styles of music, like punk rock, blues, salsa, film scores, and others. Check out this unreleased Pixies remix (the original was played at the end of the movie Fight Club). It blew my mind the first time I heard it.
Bassnectar's live shows typically consist of three major elements: sound, visuals, and a sense of unity. He gets up there with is REALLY long hair, puts on some of that dub, and just head bangs the shit out of his music like an old metal band member.
Overall this guy is one explosive dude, and I promise you loyal reader, we will be posting more of him.
What's up bleepfans. I've made a little re-edit of Britney Spears' music video. She definitely looks sexier shaking it to dubstep as opposed to that shitty pop that it was originally made for. Check it out if you got a minute.
