Lords Of Dubstep!

I want to take a little bit of time and blog space here to talk about Nero. Daniel Stephens and Joe Ray hail out of the great city of London, the place where, arguably, dubstep was born. Originally a DnB artist, their first huge hit came from remixing 'Blinded By The Lights' from The Streets. This little bleep was so big it almost singlehandedly transformed dubstep from an underground genre that was hardly heard, to a worldwide phenomenon in electronic music.

Since then, it seems Dan and Joe have had the midas touch, remixing everyone from Deadmau5 to N.E.R.D. I know that whenever I see they have a new release, I get excited because they have a reputation of excellence. Their newest remix of Plan B is no exception. Recently, released exclusively to Discodust (who is posting dubstep on the regular, to my surprise and pleasure) Nero's remix shows you what they do. They don't have to take their music in a new direction or change up their style because they deliver. Every time.

Goodie Bag #10

We are into the double digits with the Goodie Bags here, and lots of goodies there are.

First up we've got a Boys Noize remix that's been hitting the blogs hard. I'm a little late with this one, but if you don't have it, then get it now.

Staying in the same genre's of Electro crossing over into Hip/hop, DiCkNaStY! has done some remix work of Sweet Little Bleeps favorite, St. Beethoven.

Also, Moonchild comes back with his exquisite Nu Disco sound. This time he does a remix of We No Speak Americano, and has given it away to all his fans on his soundcloud page.

Then Neus has done a remix for the Kavinsky - Nightcall remix competition. It's different from a lot of his other stuff, slower and laidback, which I'm totally digging at the moment.

And lastly we go into Dub-land with an old remix of Britney from Vaski. Been meaning to post this for a while, now here it is.
