I want to take a little bit of time and blog space here to talk about Nero. Daniel Stephens and Joe Ray hail out of the great city of London, the place where, arguably, dubstep was born. Originally a DnB artist, their first huge hit came from remixing 'Blinded By The Lights' from The Streets. This little bleep was so big it almost singlehandedly transformed dubstep from an underground genre that was hardly heard, to a worldwide phenomenon in electronic music.Since then, it seems Dan and Joe have had the midas touch, remixing everyone from Deadmau5 to N.E.R.D. I know that whenever I see they have a new release, I get excited because they have a reputation of excellence. Their newest remix of Plan B is no exception. Recently, released exclusively to Discodust (who is posting dubstep on the regular, to my surprise and pleasure) Nero's remix shows you what they do. They don't have to take their music in a new direction or change up their style because they deliver. Every time.
