RuN RiOT has been busy these days. It seems like every time I turn around he's releasing another remix to the blogs. His style is bass-heavy Breakbeat, and it's awesome. His latest remix of Subsource is no exception. He does a twist on a little bleep called 'Sweet Soul Music' that has engrossing low frequency bass underneath Hip-hop vocals and on top of solid sounding drum hits. New things have been afloat from our friend Tom aka RuN RiOT. The guy has been producing some seriously massive breakbeat little bleeps lately, and I'm happy to share one of his latest with you guys right now. NAPT meets Spencer & Hill in this melodic, DJ friendly remix of Christoph Maitland. Kind of reminds me of some of Soulwax's older stuff as well at points. If this guy keeps it up, we're going to have a very in demand DJ/Producer on our hands.
This just in. A breaks remix from RuN RiOT of Dan Le Sac vs. Scoopius Pip. It throws down pretty hard in fine breakbeat fashion, and doesn't let go 'til the end. Watch those knife wounds, and enjoy.
Lots of little bleeps appearing in the mailbox lately. First up we have an Electro banger from RuN RiOT. Take Daft Punk and add some vocals from a Lenny Kravitz-esque singer, and you have a recipe for one hell of a remix.
Then we've got an original from Polizei, a Dubstep producer based out of Toronto. The guy seems to have made a number of funky Dub bleeps that are pretty diverse, but the one I'm going to share here reminds me a lot of Mt Eden Dubstep's earlier stuff with mellowed out wobble basses along with a melodic, chopped up vocal sample.
